Not to be insulting but why do people ask for relationship advice on yahoo answers?

If this question offends you dont answer itNot to be insulting but why do people ask for relationship advice on yahoo answers?
YA wants to put the Dear Abbey types out of business?

It's cheaper than a therapist?

Some questioners are not serious and are just joking?

Many people live alone and have no one else to ask?

Extra time to waste away?

Kids don't know squat and cannot ask their parents?

They have nothing to lose by asking (except 5 pts of course)?

They have tried everything else, and it helped before?

They are seeking attention?

why not?! its easier than asking in real life, and the answer are more objective than answers from friends.
There are so many questions that should not be asked here and then people get ticked off when you answer them in a way they don't like. I'm usually pretty serious when I answer but sometimes I'm not and sometimes I click on stupid questions just because I know a lot of the answers willl be funny.
It's a good question here's another...

What's a great way to get unbiased opinions from people you don't know?

People are just curious about what others think...
because they're like a milllion people so at least one of them will have a good answer.
Just to be fun, kill some time and chill. Not to be actually serious.
you did it, so shut your pie hole

Does anyone have any advice for a new mommy 2 be.?

one of my friends is pregnant, and it is her first child, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice.Does anyone have any advice for a new mommy 2 be.?
I don't have pregnancy advice but she should try to be the BEST MOST LOVING mother she can. I've seen too many mothers out in public berrating their child for messing up the child's own hair or not walking fast enough. Don't these people realize they're in public people can hear how and what they're saying to their child.

I think the best advice would be for her to take parenting classes as well as childbirth classes.Does anyone have any advice for a new mommy 2 be.?
Get a lot of sleep and start buying things and decorate. Stock up on diapers, wipes, and bottles.
Continue to exercise, even if its just a 10 minute walk. It will keep her in moderate shape during pregnancy and ease labor and delivery and help out post pregnancy getting back into shape.

Its REALLY easy to fall into the lazy thing while prego, but SO hard after you have the baby.
dont be scared to pat your babies back a little hard when burping them cause alot of people are scared and have trouble burping there baby. then they got a gassy crying baby.
Sleep now before the baby gets here, good luck and congratulations.
Stock up on lots and lots of receiving blankets, burp rags, and onesies.

Pick your pediatrician before the baby is born, and put a lot of thought into it.

Buy a crib mobile.

Try to resist buying TOO many big, loud, bright, noisy toys. They will overstimulate the baby, and he or she will be fussy and cranky!

Really give breastfeeding a shot, but don't assume it will be a breeze, and don't stress out about it too much. Yes, it is the best milk for baby, but there are lots of bottlefed babies who are happy, healthy, and chubby. Be patient with yourself, and with your baby. If it works out, WONDERFUL!!! If it doesn't, (which is quite possible), just feel confident and proud knowing your baby is well-fed and content.

Pray for your baby, not just for her immediate future, but for the many years to come...health, safety, future husband, jobs, friends, etc.

ENJOY YOUR PREGNANCY, and ENJOY BEING A MOM!!!
Get as much sleep as you can and enjoy it! I am not trying to scare you, having a baby is wonderful, but sleep will be in short supply once baby arrives.

Also, I suggest enjoying your pregnancy very much and your baby while he/she is tiny because they grow up very fast and you'll miss it.

I would stress out a lot over the house being dirty or getting other things done and before I knew it my daughter was walking and running around, no longer wanted to be just cuddled in my arms. Trust me, everything else can wait, just hold your baby a lot, love him or her with all your heart, give your baby all your love and don't let others tell you what to do because following your instinct is the best way to go.

Try to be happy and positive, the baby feels everything you do.

Good luck!
Before baby is born: Get plenty of rest. Eat healthy and drink a lot of water. Exercise.

After baby is born: When baby sleeps, mommy sleeps. If family/friends want to help out, let them!
Drink lots of water and walk alot to keep edema away.
B4 is was pregnant I would hear people say that you can't imagine what the love for your child feels like...and I never got it. I thought they were just baby obsessed...but it's so true. The love is incredible , all your worries disappear , your life that used to seem so hectic , goes in slow motion. Your heart becomes wrapped around this tiny miracle and it's beautiful. It's not exactly advice , but something to look foward too.
Just go with the flow, baby knows when they are hungry, sleepy, cold or wet and they will let you know.

Smile and nod when people are giving you advice and above all trust your instincts. they will always be the right thing to do.
sleep when the baby sleeps
My advice is to follow her instinct, most of the time she is right on target. To enjoy her little one as much as she can because they grow so fast! Have patience, pretty soon she will be super mom. Goodluck

i am trying to get toned for this independat movie my bro is filming

i wrok out four times a week i am eating healthly i am 5;9 inches 168 pounds i was wondering theoretically how long is it going to tak me to loose 15 pounds and how much cardio if i want to see results hard and how many rest days dose the average person have. another question is do u know any healthy foods to eat for lunch and breakfast with low calories, i am going to have to do some sex scene so i want to look my bestHelp i need some advice on how to get toned for the film i will be in?
The best way to tone muscle and to lose weight is weightlifting.

The healthiest amount of weight to lose per week is 2-3 pounds anymore then that you may have some problems. So I would say 5-6 weeks to lose in a healthy manner.

As far a food just watch what you eat, in other words read the nutritional facts. Avoid those with a high amount of sugar (I said high not none!). And eat small portions (nothing that can fill a plate).Help i need some advice on how to get toned for the film i will be in?
Here's what I've seen work.

Daily exercise:

Just walk briskly. That way you wont gain any unwanted muscle bulk.

Breakfast:

Fresh Fruit (even 2 or 3)

Green Tea

Snack:

Fruit

Green Tea or water with lemon

Lunch:

Big veggie Salad with water canned tuna, no dressing (add lots of different veggies to really make it appealing)

Fruit (make it different than before!!!)

Green Tea or Water with lemon

Snack:

veggies - raw

Supper:

Protien: fish, skinless chicken, pork, lean beef

Vegetable: no starchy potatoes.

Snack:

veggies (get lots of interesting ones... or try juicing them... no salt)

Points to remember:

no fruits after lunch (they turn to sugar and then fats)

no complex carbohydrates / grains

no sugar

no dairy

no salt

Drink lots of water until a couple days before your big scenes. Then you should lose the water those days, to yes, not healthy, but dehydrate yourself.
How quickly you lose weight depends upon numerous factors such as

1 first of all your metabolic rate. If you have a high metabolic rate then you will lose weight quickly.

2 how much you exercise. If you want to lose weight quickly then you are going to have to do a bit of weight training as well along with cardio exercises. You need a full body workout, working on each muscle-group separately.

3 it is easy to plan a fitness programme but very difficult to stick with it, especially when you don't get the results as quickly as you expect them.

4 go for a pure vegetarian diet - lots of fruits, vegetables and cut out the fatty foods like cheese, oils, etc.

5 again, it is easy to plan a diet but very difficult to stick to it.

I am currently writing a book and I need advice from a hematologist. How do you do your job?

My character is taking 100 mgs of Carbatrol, which in rare cases reduces red and white blood cells, so was recommended to a hematologist. How does the appointment work in this situation?I am currently writing a book and I need advice from a hematologist. How do you do your job?
I'm not a hematologist, but try using google.

I need advice, please. What is best Neurology or psychiatry for social anxiety treatment?

I made an appointment in a local clinical for psychiatry but the lady said neurology also treat these cases. I don't know what to chose? Do you have any idea? They would be greatly appreciated.I need advice, please. What is best Neurology or psychiatry for social anxiety treatment?
I had that, CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) is the therapy for that particular problem. I'd reasearch all you symtoms before you go though and have a clear idea on what you have because they just take a wild guess and perscribe a medication.

Right now i take Zoloft at 1 and 1/2 pills of 50mgs ( made for Anxiety, and doesn't react to anything really), which has basicaly saved my social life. i used to spend 5 mins in class thinking about wether or not i should go up and sharpen my pencil, because i feared that anxiety rush so much. i rarely spoke and if i did i would most likely slur a few sentences, everybody thought i was some kind of creep because of it, it sucked. but know i basicaly do whatever i want no problem not even the thought about questioning it either. i look at people that i can tell are nervous and just think why are they nervous their isn't even a crowd. but i know how hard it is so i don't take anything against them.I need advice, please. Moodgym ANU free anxiety depression website that works.

Or try hypnosis to relax your mind. $10 Ebay.

Get the ones with a pocket watch printed on the cd in the add.

Take one slightly difficult (Self set goal per day ).

It could be as simple as saying hello to someone new.

As you learn to feel comfortable if you wanted set

the next goal.

Forgive %26amp; encourage yourself if you find this difficult.

One small step.
Try exercise 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week(especially running/jogging). I've read numerous results from studies citing it as just as effective, if not more effective than drugs.
the treatment is alcohol. Ofc, you have to be 21 to take it, by which time the problem will likely go away.
i've never heard of neurology being used for social anxiety...

get a second opinion...
